The high definition AHD video format provides excellent image quality and cable runs can be up to 1600 feet using standard coax cable whether new or preexisting. Cat5e and Cat6 cables can also be used with video baluns up to 600 feet.
The camera employs the Sony Exmor 2.4Mp 1/2.8" sensor along with an IR cut filter to produce full color pictures during the day; then switching to B/W at night and removing the filter for clean clear infrared assisted images. The 42 IR LEDs can illuminate up to 115 ft. in complete darkness.
The camera's output can also be changed to standard analog for use with existing video recorders as well as the high definition AHD DVRs. The mounting plate and rotating eyeball makes installation on walls or ceiling quick and easy.
