SDI-8808-1U utilizes the H.264
compression for better recording and playback. The SDI-8808-1U
comes with 8 HD-SDI video inputs and 4 audio RCA inputs. Video is
recorded at the full 1080p resolution on all channels for real time
playback. The high definition images are far superior to standard cctv
or even the 960H video. Also the true 16:9 aspect image displays
perfectly on HD wide screen monitors and provides a wider field of view
to a corresponding cctv camera.
Backing up video is quick and easy
using an USB thumb drive. Video can be backed up in the familiar AVI
format which can be viewed with most any windows media player or as
proprietary DAT format which requires the use of the included player
software. Searching video files can be done by motion events
or time and date.
