The tables below have columns for Analog cameras and Network cameras and the corresponding resolutions. Each row in the charts show the number of cameras and the corresponding resolution that is supported. For example if you have a 4 channel HVR the 1st and 2nd rows show you can record a total of four 960H or 4 D1 analog cameras but no Network cameras since the network fields are empty. However the 3rd row shows you can record 2 cameras in analog D1 and 1 network camera in 1080p and 1 network camera in 720p for a total of 4 cameras. The 4th row shows the 4 channel HVR is capable of recording 9 D1 network cameras provided you don't want to record any other IP or analog type cameras. The 8 and 16 channel charts are laid out the same way and show a number of ways to mix and match analog and network cameras.
