The CMB-102 Nighthawk infrared outdoor security camera is specially built for tightening night surveillance. The camera features 1/3” CCD sensor with 700 lines of resolution and a varifocal lens ranging 5 ~50mm. A total of 6 LEDs including 4 Hi-Lumen LEDs and 2 high intensity Piranha LEDs stand for a night vision range up to 200 feet. While providing distinct color images at day time the camera switches automatically to B/W at night.
You are in a position to customize your desired field of view according to your need with the luxury of 5 ~50mm varifocal lens. If you set it at 5mm you will get a wider field of view; in contrast setting it at 50mm would narrow down your field of view but makes identifying things easier at long distance. If anyone wants to use this camera for only night surveillance suggested lens setting is 12mm or larger, because outer edges of images will not be illuminated by infrared if a wide field of view is used. The camera is integrated with weatherproof housing IP65 and a tri-axis bracket.
