The integrated camera does not interfere with the purifier or replacing filters and the built-in recorder comes with 8GB or 16GB internal memory. Records full color VGA quality video and audio with motion detection. Since this unit is plugged into an outlet there is no battery to replace or recharge so continuous surveillance is not a problem. When internal memory is full it will record over the oldest data first.
