The AHD1080-8 security recorder gives users 8 separate video inputs and 4 audio inputs for use with AHD high definition cameras or standard analog cameras and you can also use any combination of AHD and analog cameras.

The graphical user interface makes setting up the DVR quick and easy. Recording video can be done by schedule, motion detection or continuous or any combination. Full independent configuration of each channel including record type (motion, schedule, or continuous), resolution, frames per second, image quality.

PTZ control is supported along with full real-time playback with multi-channel synchronous decoding. Searching and playing back files can be done by time and date or event or simply choose a day for continuous playback. Supports fast forward, rewind, pause and frame by frame. Backup videos easily using USB flash drives, USB hard drives or over the network to computer or laptop. Remote viewing, PTZ control, playback and backup are standard from laptops and computers. Mobile devices allow live viewing, playback and PTZ control and can be setup to receive email alerts.
