The
PD12-3000 video transmitter set is our longest distance analog
transmitter. Capable of over 1/2 mile range with the included antennas
when you have line
of sight operation. The 1.2 GHz signal also provides good penetrating
power when obstacles such as buildings and trees are in the way but the
distance will be reduced. The
1.2 GHz frequency allows for use alongside 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz devices
without interference. Line of sight range can be over 1/2 mile with
clear unobstructed view and mounting the unit or antennas at least 15
from ground surface.
Most
applications however don't allow for the ideal mounting with clear line
of sight. Distances when line of sight is not possible are difficult to
estimate since every object can cause different effects. Metal and
concrete are the most difficult to pass signals through and even the
type of trees or other vegetation will affect the signal differently.
So many times you will just need to test the unit to see if it will
work for your application and we do allow returns if it doesn't work
for your application.

Multiple
Channel Receiver
Easily change to any of the 16 available
channels using the push buttons. The receiver can be set to match any of the 16 channels
from one of our 1.2 GHz transmitters but can output only one signal channel at a time.
Viewing
or recording multiple outputs simultaneously
will require individual transmitter and receiver sets. However multiple
receivers can display the same transmitter signal which may be handy
for receiving the same signal at different locations.
