When installing new HD-TVI cameras you can run cables up to 1500 feet using standard RG59 or RG6 cable and up to 600 feet using Cat5 or Cat6 cables with passive video baluns. You can get the full HD picture quality from the HD security cameras while still being able to view and record your existing cameras.
