HD Video Recorder - HDCVI Series

As the CCTV industry moves from standard analog cameras to the higher definition solutions different technologies emerge. HDCVI which stands for High Definition Composite Video Interface is one such technology. HDCVI is an option for megapixel HD applications, featuring long-distance transmission without lag time at a lower cost. The quadrature amplitude modulation and baseband technology avoids CVBS cross talk and separate color and brightness signals greatly enhances the video quality.

The HDCVI technology is used for both the camera and video recorder providing a significant upgrade to standard analog systems. The innovation provides full 720p (1280 x 720) in progressive scan format for better integration with HD monitors. HDCVI combines audio, video and data signals such as PTZ control together which allows them to be transmitted over one coaxial cable, simplifying installation.

Long distance transmission is also possible thanks to the Auto Signal Compensation (ASC) patent that can transmit signals to 500 meters with RG59 cable and can even be transmitted with CAT5e or CAT6 cable using video baluns. HDCVI video recorders must be used with HDCVI security cameras and will not work with standard cctv cameras.
