The SDI-9803IR is a high definition weatherproof infrared camera using Panasonic’s HD CMOS sensor and progressive scan technology. The HD-SDI format provides a 1080p quality image at 30 fps for exceptional image quality both day and night. The camera has three 3rd generation IR LEDs for a night vision range of up to 175 feet.
The camera comes with both a SDI BNC video output and standard composite BNC video output allowing for hybrid use. The SDI BNC output provides 1080p resolution when connected with HD-SDI DVRs or standard D1 resolution when using the composite BNC with conventional DVRs.
Image field of view can be adjusted with the included 2.8-12mm mega pixel varifocal lens. The camera also has an On Screen Display for various image adjustments such as WDR (wide dynamic range) for better contrast between light and dark areas. The SDI-9803IR camera provides color images during day time and automatically switches to B/W at night activating the IR LEDs to maintain picture quality.
