The 4K/8MP BJ-FD8MP-TD-AI turret dome camera can see true color images at night with very low light. With a .005 lux rating the camera can maintain full color images in much lower ambient light situations than most standard IP cameras. For very dark or no light areas the camera is also equipped with infrared night vision to provide clear B&W images up to 100 ft away. The camera also has the added features of Intelligent AI functions and true WDR. The AI functions include Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Line Crossing Detection, Stationary Object Detection, Pedestrian Detection, Face Detection, and Cross Counting. All the AI functions have rules, areas and actions that can be setup and the Pedestrian Detection function can help reduce false alarms. The 2.8mm lens covers a wide 104° field of view and the built-in microphone picks up sounds if the area making the camera a great choice for large area surveillance. The addition of True WDR provides the ability to adjust the overall contrast when a scene contains both bright and dark areas, resulting in a much more uniformed exposure. The metal IP66 outdoor housing can withstand all weather conditions and its small size is ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations.
The IR Cut Filter and advanced 3D-DNR noise reduction operate automatically when needed to ensure true full color images in most lighting situations and clean clear IR assisted images in very low light areas.
The camera also supports both Onvif Profile S and G for increased compatibility with NVRs and network devices. For the camera's Intelligent AI functions to work the camera must be used with our Blue Jay Pro Series 8 channel, 16 channel or 32 channel NVRs. The camera's on-screen-display menu provides a variety of image adjustments and the free RXCAMVIEW for Android/iPhone mobile devices allows remote access to live video, playback video and push notification. Can be power by PoE (Power over Ethernet) or 12VDC power supply.
