H.264 Compression enables longer recording
The MAX-PLEX is a sophisticated 4-camera security DVR priced for budget
security systems. It uses advanced h.264 video compression (the next
generation of MPEG4 codecs) to create high quality clear video images in a
high-efficiency video file format. This means you get great video and your
hard disk drive can store much more of it compared to previous systems
using older MPEG and MJPEG compression formats.
Motion detection
Built-in digital motion detection eliminates the need for external motion
hardware and sensitivity levels, also has masking areas witch are customizable.
Manual and scheduled recording is also available. The simple OSD ensures a quick setup and
easy user operation.
The MAX-PLEX can record video from as many as 4
cameras, in addition to 1 channel of audio. Perform simultaneous
operations like watch live video, record, and review video files.
Connects easily to your network using the built-in LAN connector.
On-screen display menu makes set-up easy.
Remote Monitoring
Support for TCP/IP, PPPOE, DHCP, and DDNS network connection. Remote
live viewing and setup functions are available via IE web browser or
our free, downloadable application software.

Save Money and Install your own Hard Drive.
The MAX-PLEX has a convenient hard drive cradle for easy plug-in
installation. No need to remove any covers or panels, just unlock the
cradle pull it out and plug-in your hard drive and plug it back in.
Requires a SATA hard drive, please note that the hard drive is not hot
swappable. Which means you must first turn off power to the DVR before
installing or removing the hard drive.
