The DVR264-8 is a quality digital video recorder utilizing the space saving H.264 compression. The DVR264-8 provides 8 video inputs with 240 fps recording at standard CIF(360 x 240) resolution, 120 fps at 720 x 240 resolution and 60 fps at 720 x 480 resolution. The frames per second can be adjusted on a per channel basis allowing for higher fps for cameras in sensitive areas.

The USB port allows video and images to be saved to a USB flash drive or external drive. Using the client software video files can be converted to AVI format for easy viewing on standard video players like Windows Media Player or RealNetworks. There are a number of ways to search files including calendar, time and event. Another convenient feature is the ability to bookmark events during playback for easy copying or playback at another time.

Remote viewing, playback, and backup are all standard on the DVR264-8.
